Born in Italy and raised bilingual. I took the Maturità in Classics in 1994 and then travelled and worked extensively in Europe, Australasia and Southeast Asia for about three years. I studied English at Aberdeen University and Linguistics at Oxford University, and now I divide my working hours between teaching English in the Military Academy of Modena and translating for the Centro and for PromoBologna, the territorial marketing agency for the city and province of Bologna. When not working, I am reading, writing, doing aikido or out on a mountain somewhere walking and breathing.
